This is a topic that seems like common sense, but to some it's not common sense, especially in fitness. If you want to lose fat and gain muscle, you won't get there by eating McDonald's and doing all cardio. Make sense?
You need to set your goal. What do you want? Do you want to lose weight? Or is it that you want to have the appearance of losing weight? Those are entirely different things. One is caloric deficit with cardio, the other is maintenance calorie with weight training.
